You may have seen this fab illustration by Lucy Monkman on social media.  It represents the lovely handmade treats that will be available at the York Makers Spring Fair this Saturday 21 April 2018. Doors open at Clements Hall, Nunthorpe Road, York, YO23 1BW at 10am and entry is free.

York Makers Christmas Fair - Saturday 3 December 2016

It's getting very exciting because on Saturday it's the York Makers Christmas Fair which is always a lovely event! So, I thought I'd give you a little reminder that it's on and show you a few new things that I've been making this week...

A Workshop with Wonderful Weaselworks, York

This weekend I joined members of City of York Embroiderers' Guild for a workshop run by Helen Young of Wonderful Weaselworks.  If you managed to get along to the Guild's Embroidery for All Exhibition at the Guildhall in York this summer you will have seen some of Helen's fabulous work on display.  Helen is a talented embroiderer and quiltmaker who runs workshops and sells vintage & recycled craft materials.
